Yves Moreau, from 1948 to 2023, lived a remarkable life brimming with discoveries, travels, extraordinary adventures, and his enduring love for Bulgarian folk dance and music. As a celebrated Bulgarian folklore specialist spanning six decades, he shared and celebrated the rich culture of Bulgaria, making it beloved across the globe. His legacy as a Bulgarian culture ambassador will endure. To honor his memory, let us all remain curious, embrace the world, and continue to dance, as he said on his 75th birthday, “The key is to be with loved ones and, if possible, keep dancing!”
Yves Moreau passed away on September 8, 2023
We are all reeling from the sad news of Yves Moreau’s passing. An online card, in Google Slides, has been created so people can have an opportunity to send their thoughts, memories, and wishes to France and their family. If you wish to add your page to this card, here is the link: tinyurl.com/Card4Yves. Our thoughts and prayers go to France and his family.
