2024 NFO Conference

April 4 – 9 in Bruceville, Texas

Location

Greene Family Camp, 1192 Smith Lane, Bruceville, Texas (same as TIFD’s Texas Camp location) is located in the eclipse’s longest zone of totality and has the best chance of good weather in the US (of course, eclipse viewing can not be guaranteed). GFC is basic but comfortable, with climate controlled lodging and event venues spread out over their 150 acre campus. All meals and NFO dance parties will be in the Chadar Ochel Dining Hall. Other events may take place in the Goldberg Performing Arts Center and at the lakeside Pavilion. For more information about lodging see the registration section below or the camp’s wepage

Click here for directions from the Greene Family Camp website.

Non-members add $50 to all fees (or become a member for $15 to $40, depending on membership level).

As of September 15, our semi-private accommodations are SOLD OUT, though we still have cabin and eco-dome spots. You can join the waiting lists for semi-private lodging on the registration form but they can’t be guaranteed. All rooms have real beds and mattresses with sheets, a blanket, pillow, and towel. Look up the location options on the interactive map below.

For those who live nearby or have lined up their own accommodations and transportation in the area, we are offering a Commuter rate which covers meals and NFO Conference activities (not lodging): $325

EcoDome: $500
Look for the kibbutz on the map. The accommodations are modern, with nine bunk beds each, but the showers and toilets are located in the building across from them, not inside the domes. You’re guaranteed a lower bunk and some space because we are limiting numbers to nine per dome.

(SOLD OUT)
Mirpa’ah Infirmary on the map. These rooms include one queen bed and either one single bed or a bunk bed, with a “Jack-and-Jill” bathroom shared with one other room. This room is appropriate for 2 people, or 3-4 if two share a bed or someone is willing to take an upper bunk.

Camper Cabins: $550
These cabins have two sides with multiple shared showers and toilets in the middle. Each side has 7 bunk beds. You’re guaranteed a lower bunk and some space if you select the Camper Cabins because we are limiting numbers to no more than 7 per side (14 per cabin). These actually have a better bed-to-shower ratio than the semi-privates listed below.

Jacofsky Faculty Center on the map. These rooms include one queen bed and either one single bed or a bunk bed, with a private bathroom with shower. The room is appropriate for 2 people, or 3-4 people if two share a bed or someone is willing to take an upper bunk.
