You will have to do that every time you come until you are fully vaccinated. You must sign a COVID-19 liability waiver the first time you enter. You will not be required to wear a mask in the dance room but BRING A MASK ANYWAY. That's because Northbrae Church requires mask wearing at all times in the hallways and bathrooms. | |

As we joyfully resume in-person dancing, we will begin each evening with easier dances selected by the person doing the dance programming for that evening. After the first half hour of warm-up dances, we will follow an all-request format for the rest of the evening. We aim to be flexible and responsive to t he dancers, and we can pauseto provide teaching and review of a particular dance "on the fly", so don't be shy about joining us if you are new to folk dancing, and speak up if you want all or part of a dance reviewed. Later in the year we will resume our scheduled teaching and review of new dances. "Dance Cards" that you punch each time you attend a class may be purchased in class on Sunday nights. The cost is $35 for five sessions, or $70 for ten sessions. If paying by check make the check out to "Davis International Folkdancers". You can opt to pay $7.00 per session, if you prefer. The punch cards will not expire, so you can come when it is convenient - no penalty if you miss a session. For first time folk dancers only, your first visit is free. East Bay Folk Dancers is a dedicated and welcoming dance community with an unbroken history since meeting for dance on the lawn on the UC Berkeley campus in the early 1960s. East Bay Folk Dancers is organized as a collective without specific leaders. The cost is $5, with your first night free. Our mission is to promote and present traditional Hungarian folk dances and to preserve the Hungarian folk culture in all its forms. The Eszterlánc Hungarian Folk Ensemble has been celebrating and showcasing Hungarian folk culture in the Bay Area since its foundation in 1977 through presentations to the Hungarian community and the general public. The Ensemble consists of twenty to forty young adults ranging from age 14 and up. Most are of Hungarian heritage, although membership has never been limited to those with Hungarian backgrounds. The dancers receive their training in the Ensemble as well as from guest teachers and at workshops statewide. Practices are held every week at the CY Dance Works, 25 37th Ave, San Mateo, CA 94403 on Friday nights from 7:30pm to 10:30pm.
